Hospitality Jobs Dubai, Hotel Recruitment UAE.
The United Arab Emirates is the constitutional federation of seven emirates: Abu Dhabi,
Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al-Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah, and Al Fujairah.
Dubai, the sci-fi-esque city of iconic skyscrapers, palm-shaped islands, city-sized malls,
indoor ski slopes and palatial beach resorts. An hour’s drive south, oil-rich Abu Dhabi, the
UAE capital, is positioning itself as a hub of culture, sport and leisure.
The UAE’s hospitality sector is gearing up for one of its busiest periods, with the country’s
hotel construction pipeline forecast to peak in 2017, and experts noting that the
momentum will carry over into 2018.
Dubai alone plans to double the number of hotel and serviced apartments leading to
revenue of $10bn, according to a report by Alpen Capital. While Dubai continues to add
new supply, it also continues to add new leisure attractions, and expanding the market’s
range of potential visitors can only help drive hotel demand and profitability. Abu Dhabi
Tourism and Culture Authority looks forward to welcoming 600,000 Chinese visitors to
the emirate by 2021.
This boom in growth has therefore lead to a demand for talent and resources. As most
of the hotels operating and opening in the region are global brands – Hilton, Marriott,
Four Seasons etc… there is a preference for talent with corporate experience. It is
often the case that a step back in title is required to gain entry into the market but the
progression and opportunity for promotion is very strong if a candidate performs well.
A benefit of working in Dubai includes tax-free salary, which can make your post expense
earnings higher than in other locations.
Action Recruitment has established strong relationships and as we have a presence in
the region it gives us access to what is happening and the needs of the hotels in the
