At present we have an opportunity for the position of Pastry Chef to join the team of one of the most luxurious 5 star resorts in Ireland located 45 minutes from Dublin City

 

In the role you will have the following responsibilities:

 

  • To be responsible for the supervision of all pastry service throughout the resort
  • To ensure the smooth running of this section ensuring the standards of cuisine and hygiene are maintained
  • To ensure all recipes are for the pastry and bakery are standardised and communicated to Pastry personnel
  • To ensure that the bakery produces all items to the required standard
  • To ensure all goods are stored correctly and hygienically in accordance with HACCP specifications To promote a positive working atmosphere at all times
  • Must be able to work well on their own initiative and to work in a team environment Experience/Qualifications
  • Will have previous experience as a Pastry Chef within the hotel industry
  • To participate in training provided by the company
  • Excellent Knowledge of HACCP
  • Will possess excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Will have fluency in English, both oral and written
  • Will be flexible in their working hours

 

You must have a minimum of 2 full years experience at Chef de Partie level in Pastry to be considered for this role and ideally have work experience in a 5 star resort.
