Action Recruitment have an exciting vacancy for an Accommodation Manager on behalf of our client, a 4-star hotel in Dublin.  The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ managerial experience within the Accommodation department of a busy hotel, preferably at 4-star level.

You must have people leadership and development experience as well as excellent organisational and communication skills.  This is a fixed term contract role.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Accommodation Manager will lead the housekeeping function, ensuring that guests experience the highest quality of rooms standard.

As Accommodation Manager, the Main Responsibilities Include:

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitor the accommodation/ housekeeping employees’ standard of work, ensuring the highest quality
  • Delegate the rooms volume to the team and organise rotas as per business levels
  • Team leadership, motivation and development
  • Ensure compliance with all H&S and HACCP regulations both internally and externally
  • Monitor the cleanliness of all public areas throughout the property, including the conference suite and leisure facilities
  • Liaising with the Maintenance department to ensure consistently high standards throughout the hotel
  • Any other duties as assigned
